Our Mission & Approach
Our mission is to strengthen the capacity of Muslim charities and not-for-profits so they can focus on what truly matters: serving their communities and building lasting legacies of good. We understand that many organisations operate with limited resources, competing priorities, and growing expectations from the communities they serve. That’s why our role is to step in as a trusted partner - providing the digital foundations, skills, and insights that allow them to thrive.
Our approach is practical and straightforward. We equip organisations with the tools and assets they need - from websites and CRMs to donation platforms and marketing resources. We enable their teams through tailored training, workshops, and advisory support, ensuring they not only have the tools but also the confidence and capability to use them well. And we inspire them with research, thought leadership, and actionable strategies that spark new ideas and guide them toward more effective fundraising, stronger engagement, and sustainable growth.
By combining these three pillars - inspire, equip, and enable - we aim to take away barriers, unlock potential, and give Muslim not-for-profits the support they need to focus on their mission. In doing so, we help strengthen the organisations that strengthen the Ummah.
Our Values
At Digital Jariyah, we aspire to be guided by values that reflect the principles of Islam. We aim to embody Ihsan (excellence) by continually striving toward the highest standards in the work we deliver. We seek to uphold Amanah (trust and responsibility), building relationships rooted in transparency and integrity. We hope to act with Rahmah (mercy and compassion), always remembering that our work is about serving people, not just completing projects. And above all, we are inspired by the spirit of Sadaqah Jariyah, aspiring to create tools, skills, and insights that will continue to benefit the Ummah long into the future.
Who We Are
We are a volunteer-led, faceless organisation made up of ordinary people from the community who want to contribute in whatever way we can. We are not scholars of Islam, nor do we claim leadership over the organisations we support. Instead, we are a collective of professionals drawing on the skills, experiences, and knowledge we have gained from our careers and day jobs. We recognise that we are not perfect and are driven by the believe that even small efforts, when guided by sincerity, can make a meaningful difference for the Ummah.
Who We Serve
We exist to support the organisations that carry the weight of serving the Ummah. This includes charities, mosques, waqfs, community groups, and educational institutions that work tirelessly to uplift and strengthen Muslim communities. Whether large or small, well-established or just beginning, we seek to stand beside these organisations by providing the tools, training, and insights that help them focus on their core mission. Our role is not to lead, but to enable - ensuring that those on the frontlines of service have the support they need to thrive. How We’re Funded
We are fully self-funded by our volunteers. Everyone involved contributes their own time, skills, and resources without financial compensation. This allows us to remain independent, mission-driven, and focused solely on serving the Ummah. While our capacity is limited by the fact that we are volunteer-led, our commitment is sincere - every project we take on is powered by the goodwill and dedication of ordinary people giving from what Allah has blessed them with.
